Hi, I’m Andres. Software engineer & data architect.

Most of my work is in Python, Django, APIs, and data systems. I enjoy understanding complicated problems, working through them with good people, and building solutions others can rely on.

01 About

A little
about me.

I’ve spent more than a decade working where software, data, and real operational problems meet.

Born and raised in El Paso and now based in Phoenix, I’ve worked across Fortune 100 environments, nonprofits, and startups. Each role has reinforced the same instinct: understand the problem clearly, then build something people can rely on.

At heart, I’m a Python enthusiast. Data architecture was my first professional discipline, and it still shapes how I think about APIs, models, and product decisions.

04 Principles

What matters
to me.

01

Work that matters

I’m most motivated by products and industries that address real-world problems or make life better for others.

02

Voice & ownership

I do my best work when I can contribute to decisions, listen to other perspectives, share my own, and follow through on what I own.

03

Better together

Diverse, curious, and enjoyable teams bring out better ideas and better versions of all of us.

04

Work-life balance

As much as I love what I do, work is one part of who I am. Family, friends, and being a father matter just as much, and that balance helps me show up well in my career.
